My approach: person-centred, experiential, relational, humanistic, embodied
My general vibe: warm, grounded, straightforward
About me: I see therapy as a collaborative space where insight, integration and change emerge through connection and dialogue. I bring presence, genuineness, and curiosity to help you explore your experience at your own pace.
In this relational process, I aim to create a space where you feel safe and seen, which facilitates clarity, integration, and change. My approach trusts that people have the capacity to find their way forward when offered the right conditions.
I draw on my background in psychology and trauma blending tools and modalities that might be helpful for particular clients. I often find that different ways of accessing experience can help - journalling, metaphor, images, poetry, body awareness, and I think there's room in therapy for the creative and the spiritual.
I trained as person-centred psychotherapist at the University of Strathclyde, and I am registered with BACP. I have extensive experience working in the mental health and charity sector, where I supported people with anxiety, depression and complex trauma, particularly around sexual and domestic violence. This work has shaped my commitment to anti-oppressive, trauma-sensitive, and relationally-attuned practice. Before training as a therapist, I completed a BSc in cultural studies, which shaped how I think about our stories and the meaning we make of our experiences.
I've been living in Scotland for 10 years, and I am originally from Poland. I often connect well with people who carry a sense of "otherness" - whether that's tied to cultural background, neurodivergence, sexuality, chronic illness, or other layers of difference - although I welcome clients from all walks of life.
